Most of the pages on this website have a banner at the top and a menu on the left side. We cannot edit these using the Contribute Program. They require Dreamweaver or some program that allows access to the code. This keeps us non-programmers from messing up the workings of the website.
It is very handy to have an FTP (file transfer protocol) program for moving files directly from our computers to the AAIE server. For example, I can upload a new .pdf file for the new bulletin, with the same name as the old "bulletincurrent.pdf", and every spot that links to that name will still work. I have Ipswitch WS_FTP, which I think cost me about $50.
Try creating a link to some external page. Highlight and click on "link" tab above. Browse to your page.
Try creating a link to page on this website. First browse and then click "Choose" a page on this website. Double-click on www.aaie.net.
Many pdf files are in "Documents" folder.
Discussion page stuff is in "IPMInfo" folder.
Try creating a new page. After giving it a name and editing the new page, the program will ask you where to put it (Choose folder, then Select). I suggest Documents or IPMInfo. The new page can be erased later if not needed.
Some things can be copies from old pages. For example, on the IPM info stuff, I copy the following, taken from a page opened on my regular browser:
